About Us

DelTests sprouted from an experience.

Story time!

It was an incident that occurred in an MNC I worked for; my Team leader at the time had to go on leave, so an acting Team leader was chosen within the team itself. However, one employee (let's call her Jane) in particular could not digest the fact that someone else younger (alias, Rose) with fewer years of experience and time spent in the company was chosen.

This led to a lot of miscommunication and hostility towards Rose; coupled with a high backlog, Rose started to burn out.

She reached out to the manager but no solution was found — or rather, he refused to see the problem itself.

Weeks later, Rose suffered a stroke leading to a short-term memory loss.

Without denying the fact that Rose had medical complications that led to her stroke, it was without a doubt that stress had triggered and worsened her condition.

After the incident, several questions kept popping up: Jane felt that the decision of promoting Rose was biased and preferential. If the promotion was based on results, would Jane have felt and reacted the same way towards Rose? If Rose had better stress tolerance, perhaps she could have delayed the inevitable? If the manager had adequate emotional intelligence, could this whole mess have been avoided?

All questions led to one solution: soft skills! With the necessary soft skills, the damage could have been minimised and could have fostered a better workplace culture. This is one of the many incidents that could have been avoided if proper employee training was provided.

Thus, DelTests emerged; we carefully selected a range of criteria that we deemed to be useful in the workplace and created a test. Results obtained may be used to provide Employee Welfare by helping employees grow as individuals and improve their soft skills.

Our Quotients

Emotional Quotient (EQ)

A person's emotional intelligence, or their capacity to identify, comprehend, regulate, and make good use of both their own and other people's emotions, is measured by their emotional quotient, or EQ. EQ is made up of essential parts such as self-awareness, empathy, and social skills. Emotional intelligence is often considered a crucial factor in personal and professional success — in the workplace, EQ is valued for its impact on leadership, teamwork, communication, and overall organisational culture.

Risk Behaviour Quotient (RBQ)

Risk Behaviour Quotient may allude to a statistic or gauge that evaluates a person's inclination towards taking on risky behaviours. This quotient may be influenced by factors including propensity for making decisions, risk tolerance, and propensity to engage in activities that may have unfavourable outcomes. Knowing one's Risk Behaviour Quotient can be helpful in situations such as financial planning, health management, or organisational risk assessment.

Stress Behaviour Quotient (SBQ)

Stress Behaviour Quotient measures how a person responds to and recovers from pressure — covering reaction speed and consistency under load, alongside broader resilience and stress-tolerance patterns. Knowing one's Stress Behaviour Quotient can help identify how someone holds up under deadlines, workload spikes, or high-pressure situations, and where extra support might help.

Mindful Behaviour Quotient (MBQ)

The practice of developing awareness of the present moment, accepting thoughts and feelings without passing judgment, and encouraging a non-reactive state of mind is generally referred to as mindfulness. A Mindful Behaviour Quotient might be used to measure a person's inclination to practise mindfulness — including awareness and attention, non-judgmental observation, response to stress, emotional regulation, and mindful communication.

Why US

Soft skills don't stop mattering after the offer letter is signed. Every day, employees navigate stress, conflicting priorities, and interpersonal friction — and how well they handle it shapes team morale, retention, and the overall health of an organisation.

Let us paint you a picture: someone on your team, maybe a manager, maybe not, is struggling to manage stress or read the room emotionally. They don't prioritise well under pressure, and they don't realise the friction they're creating for the people around them. Left unaddressed, this quietly erodes team morale — leading to burnout, disengagement, and eventually, higher labour turnover.

By the time performance reviews or exit interviews reveal the issue, the damage is already done. We believe ongoing awareness is better than after-the-fact correction. That's why, at DelTests, we provide an intensive assessment to help employees — and the organisations that support them — understand and strengthen the soft skills that keep teams functioning well.

We evaluate individuals based on our core quotients, namely:

Emotional Quotient
Risk Behaviour Quotient (RBQ)
Stress Behaviour Quotient (SBQ)
Mindful Behaviour Quotient (MBQ)

DelTests is designed to be used as part of an ongoing employee welfare and development program, giving organisations a clear, recurring pulse on the soft skills of their people — not just a one-time snapshot. Insights from the assessment can guide personalised coaching, training, and support, helping employees grow while the organisation benefits from a healthier, more resilient workforce.

Our tests are based on extensive research and attested by a psychologist. Beyond the organisational benefit, DelTests also gives individuals a tool for self-awareness. Employees — including those newer to the workplace — can use their results to understand their own behavioural tendencies and actively work on their personal and professional growth.

Information We Collect

DelTests collects different data depending on whether you are a user of the DelTests platform (a super user, enhanced user, or basic user acting on behalf of a client organisation) or an employee completing an assessment (a "test taker"). These are kept separate, and the personal information listed below is collected only from SaaS platform users — not from test takers.

1.1 Personal Information — SaaS Platform Users

We collect the following personal information when you register for or use the DelTests platform as a super user, enhanced user, or basic user:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Company name
  • Job title

1.2 Information Relating to Test Takers

Test takers (employees invited to complete an assessment) do not hold an account and do not provide the personal information listed in section 1.1. Their data is handled as follows:

  • Invite stage: an email address is used temporarily to deliver a unique, single-use assessment link. This is ordinary personal data, held only for as long as needed to deliver the invite and is not retained once the invite expires or is used.
  • Assessment completion: the test taker's individual result is shown once, on-screen, and may be downloaded by them. It is not stored in a form linked to their identity, and cannot be retrieved again after this point.
  • Retained data: the underlying response data is retained only after direct identifiers (name, email, invite token) have been removed or never recorded against it. Organisational attributes such as department, project, and company may be retained on this anonymised record for aggregation purposes, subject to the safeguards described in section 6 below.
